About David

Biography
David Piearcy is a pastor and teacher with more than four decades of preaching experience. Having sensed a call to ministry at an early age, he began preaching as a young boy under the guidance of his father, who was also a pastor. Since then, he has devoted his life to teaching Scripture with clarity, conviction, and care.
His writing began as a way to serve the local church he now pastors in Abilene, Texas. The first of his books was created as a resource for new members — simple, accessible, and grounded in biblical truth. Each project that followed grew from the same burden: to help believers, especially new Christians, understand the foundations of their faith.
His books seek to answer common questions about church life, prayer, and core Christian doctrine in a way that is both approachable and deeply rooted in Scripture.
"David believes that many sincere believers long for a stronger grasp of what they believe and why it matters. His aim is not merely to inform, but to strengthen confidence in the Word of God and encourage steady, faithful growth."
He and his wife, Amy, enjoy life surrounded by their five children and eight grandchildren.
